DEFIANT, directed by Oscar-nominated director Karim Amer. documents Ukraine’s resistance to Russia’s invasion through the lens of digital warfare and information manipulation. I assisted in the development of the visual language throughout the upcoming film that showcases the virtual frontlines of the war. I collaborated with the team to design and animate maps, weave social media into the scenes, and support the creation of the title sequence.

Although anchored in Ukraine’s experience, the film provides a broader perspective on the evolving nature of information warfare in the modern world.
